This jazz concert at King’s Place last Friday was a very pleasant surprisewith a very unusual set of creative musicians with their own very individual profile. My favourite performer was the pianist, Michael Willny, a very talented and dazzling artist who led some stimulating duos with the harpsicord and wit the rest of the quintet, also featuring Swedish drummer Magnus Öström. Pure musical pleasure!
