This is a newly discovered Indian restaurant close by to Sloane Square hosted in a renovated townhouse with ambitious cooking. My friend and I needed a good restaurant around Sloane Square for a lunch catch up and this one came up as a recommended place for Indian cooking, which is my friend’s favourite. Indeed this was a very pleasant surprise with well designed interiors, that combine harmoniously the original townhouse architecture with strong and elegant design elements from the subcontinent.

We decided to share our orders so we could taste many different dishes. We went for Paneer makkai and Prawns masala for starters and Seabass kokum and Chicken tikka masala as main courses. All dishes were really delicious and sauces were to die for, in fact we took full advantage of the variety of breads to dip into. No room for desserts after that as we were really full and satisfied.

Apart fom the ground floor where there are two medium sized rooms with small tables it is possible to make use of two rooms on the first floor for private dining or for small functions in a more reserved space. Altogether a great experience and surely a restanurant that will attract attention and awards.
