I have been nominated by Ribana from Popsicle Society for the Sunshine Blogger Award for a second time now. Thanks for the nomination which is much appreciated, especially because I am developing an audience for my new blog that I started only a couple of months ago.

Ribana’s Questions:
- Are you happy with your life? We are the creators of our life only to a certain extent, much of it is left to chance and unpredictability. It’s then left to us to appreciate and be happy with what this random series of events can offer us as opportunities and challenges.
- Does the sun makes you happy? I need some sunshine in my life to cheer me up. I actually feel the lack of sunshine during the winter as a source of vital energy.
- What happiness means for you? Happiness is in taking the best of each moment we live with positivity. It’s only up to us to create and feel our own happiness.
- Sunshine or sunset? Sunsets have something magic and unique that is projected by the spectacular array of colours offered by sunshine at the end of each day.
- Does blogging make you happy? I have been blogging only for a couple of months now so this is for me a new experience. I have found a way to express and communicate my world that is quite stimulating and rewarding and this contributes to making someone happy.
- Are you surrounded by happy people? Positivity and happiness around us are also a reflection of what we are inside and of the feelings we project to others. It is important to be surrounded by happy people but sometimes we also have to make efforts to make feel people happy around us when they are not.
- When you see sad people are you trying to cheer them up? I tend to make jokes about myself to keep my spirit up and try to do the same with people who are going through a bad patch. Smiling sometimes is the best therapy ever.
- Tell me a happy moment from your life. I find many opportunities for happiness when I travel because visiting new places satisfies my curiosity and desires for discoveries. One of the places that inspired me most in this sense has to be the South Pacific, where I have been several times now, on different islands. I spent some prolonged time on one atoll in the Tuamotu Islands some time ago to study their society and their economy. That is surely one extended happy time I shared with the community there, living a simple life and trying to understand the unique set of rules people had developed to make best use of available resources to live in harmony with their environment.
- Does your work makes you happy? If so, what you do? When it came the time to choose what kind of work I wanted to do I had no hesitation to go for a job that would have taken me around the world to visit all kinds of people. Helping people improving their opportunities with their lives is a very rewarding, undoubtedly stimulating and a great source of happiness.
- Are you smiling everyday? As much as I can I try to smile or laugh about what happens around me. It is my instinctive way to deal with the reality around me.
- Are you happy with yourself? If I were totally happy with myself there would be no stimulation to learning or development. I am a perfectionist and, as such, there is always some little detail I am not happy with, which pushes me to constantly improve and explore new directons. Otherwise life would be be too boring.
My questions:
- What do you enjoy most in blogging?
- What has been your most successful blog post and why do you think it was such a success?
- What was your happiest moment in life so far?
- What is your little wish you would like to come through the soonest?
- A day on the beach or a day exploring a city?
- Where would you like to travel next?
- What is your favourite season and why?
- Eating what food brings to you some happy memories about your childhood?
- Who is your favourite historical character and why?
- What is the piece of music that brings back to you happy memories?
