One interesting variation on the very common crassula ovata, also known as jade or money plant, is the crassula gollum or monstruosa, where leaves take a tubolar or trumpet shape and resemble Shrek’s ears, which in another common name for this plant. The palnt grows fast and can reach the dimensionof a small shrub of 90 cm tall and 60 cm wide, as shown in the picture on the left. Like most succulents watering needs to be done when soil is dry around once a week, if kept indoor.

I love the look of this plant. I particularly the fact that it has the potential so grow quickly and reach such a great size!
It is indeed a peculiar looking plant and, as the others in that family is growing fast during this season. I bought mine only a couple of months ago and had to repot it already.
