Green Park is the smallest of the Royal Parks in London, with 19 hectares of land between Buckingham Palace and Piccadilly. It is the Royal Park with less landscaping and planting, as it features just mature trees and some naturalised narcissus. It is a nice connecting area between the busy streets around Piccadilly and the other two nearby Royal Parks, St James’s Park and Hyde Park, perfect for a nice walk or an inpired lunch in the green among old trees. I love it especially with the warm colours of the autumn, although it is a lovely cool oasis during the relative heat of the summer in London.
