Du mรชme dรฉsert, ร la mรชme nuit, toujours mes yeux las se rรฉveillent ร lโรฉtoile dโargent, toujours, sans que sโรฉmeuvent les Rois de la vie, les trois mages, le cลur, lโรขme, lโesprit. โ Noรซl sur la terre !

Morning, by Arthur Rimbaud
Didnโt I once have a kind, heroic, fabulous youth to write on gold leaves, โ too much luck! By what crime, by what error, did I deserve my current weakness? You who claim that animals grow sobbings of sorrow, that sick people despair, that dead dream badly, try to tell about my fall and sleep. I canโt explain myself any more than the beggar with his continuous Pater et Ave Maria. I canโt speak anymore!
Yet, today, I think I have finished the relationship of my hell. It was indeed hell; the old, the one whose doors the son of the man opened.
From the same desert, at the same night, always my weary eyes wake up to the silver star, always, without the Kings of life, the three Magi, the heart, soul, spirit being moved. When will we go, beyond the rivers and mountains, to greet the birth of new labour, the new wisdom, the flight of tyrants and demons, the end of superstition, worship โ the first! โ Christmas on earth!
The song of heaven, the march of peoples! Slaves, letโs not curse life.
- Natale in terra!
