๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท – Vies I, de Arthur Rimbaud

๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง – Lives I, by Arthur Rimbaud

O the huge avenues of the holy land, the terraces of the temple! What has become of the Brahmin who explained the Proverbs to me? I can still see the old women from there! I remember the hours of silver and sunshine by the rivers, my companion's hand on my shoulder, and our caresses standing on the peppery plains. - A flock of scarlet pigeons thunders around my thoughts. - Exiled here, I had a stage on which to perform the dramatic masterpieces of all literature. I would show you the untold riches. I observe the history of the treasures you found. I can see the rest! My wisdom is as despised as chaos. What is my nothingness compared to the astonishment that awaits you?

La mia saggezza รจ disprezzata come il caos.
