Flor de jazmín y toro degollado.
Pavimento infinito. Mapa. Sala. Arpa. Alba.
La niña finge un toro de jazmines
y el toro es un sangriento crepúsculo que brama.

Si el cielo fuera un niño pequeñito,
los jazmines tendrían mitad de noche oscura,
y el toro circo azul sin lidiadores,
y un corazón al pie de una columna.

Pero el cielo es un elefante,
y el jazmín es un agua sin sangre
y la niña es un ramo nocturno
por el inmenso pavimento oscuro.

Entre el jazmín y el toro
o garfios de marfil o gente dormida.
En el jazmín un elefante y nubes
y en el toro el esqueleto de la niña.

The girl pretends a bull of jasmines 
and the bull is a bloody twilight that roars.

If the sky were a little child, 
the jasmines would have half a dark night, 
and the bull a blue circus without bullfighters, 
and a heart at the foot of a column.

But the sky is an elephant, 
and the jasmine is a bloodless water 
and the girl is a night bouquet 
by the immense dark pavement.

Between the jasmine and the bull 
or ivory hooks or sleeping people.
In the jasmine an elephant and clouds 
and in the bull the skeleton of the girl.

e il toro è un crepuscolo sanguinoso che ruggisce.

Se il cielo fosse un bambino, 
i gelsomini avrebbero una mezza notte buia, 
e il toro un circo blu senza toreri, 
e un cuore ai piedi di una colonna.

Ma il cielo è un elefante, 
e il gelsomino è un'acqua esangue 
e la ragazza è un bouquet notturno 
presso l'immenso marciapiede scuro.

Tra il gelsomino e il toro 
o ganci d'avorio o persone addormentate.
Nel gelsomino un elefante e delle nuvole 
e nel toro lo scheletro della ragazza.
