God Bless America! – 2025 ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Today marks a milestone in our virtual travels as I celebrate reaching all 51 states of the USA, with more than 10,000 viewers overall! From the iconic landscapes of Alaska to the vibrant culture of Hawaii, our journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. Each state has its unique charm, offering a tapestry of experiences that weave together to form the rich fabric of American diversity. Whether it’s the hustle and bustle of New York, the serene beauty of Montana, or the sunny beaches of Florida, we’ve embraced the distinct flavors and colors of every corner of this vast and varied nation.

This milestone refers to people outside the WordPress platform who access the site through other means, such as browser searches or links from other applications, such as Facebook or Twitter. A big thank you to all these American readers who have been following my site and have shown their appreciation for the topics I have covered. The USA is the top country of origin of my blogโ€™s audience, with a 30.5% of the global traffic and annual increases of more than 50%.

As I reflect on this achievement, it’s not just about the numbers but the stories, people, and memories that have enriched our exploration. We have tasted regional cuisines, learned about local traditions, and connected with the communities that make each state special. Thank you, dear readers, for accompanying me on this adventure. Your enthusiasm and curiosity have fueled my exploration, and we’re excited to continue uncovering the hidden gems and untold stories that lie within the borders of this remarkable nation. For me, this is a great achievement, especially since I started publishing in English from the very beginning on my blog but I have not featured specifically topics about the Western Hemisphere. I have not been able to achieve such extensive coverage in other English-speaking countries such as the United Kingdom or Canada. I take these audience statistics from the Flag Counter web application, which provides automated information about website visitors and their region of origin.

The United States of America have a diverse population of over 331 million people. The racial composition includes about 60% White, 18% Hispanic or Latino, 13% Black or African American, 6% Asian, and 3% identifying as two or more races. The median age is around 38 years. English is the primary language, though Spanish is widely spoken. Major urban centers include New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. The country is predominantly Christian (about 65%), with growing numbers of people identifying as unaffiliated with any religion. The U.S. boasts a varied economic landscape, with significant wealth disparities across different demographics.

With approximately 8.7 million residents, Virginia ranks as the 12th most populous state in the U.S. and the state where more than 11% of my U.S. blog readers are located. The population is predominantly White (61%), followed by African Americans (19%), Hispanics or Latinos (10%), and Asians (7%). This diversity is evident in the cultural festivals, culinary variety, and multicultural neighborhoods found in cities like Richmond, Virginia Beach, and Arlington. Virginia’s age distribution is balanced, with 22% under 18, 63% between 18-64, and 15% over 65. This mix makes it a family-friendly state with a dynamic workforce and robust services for seniors. Education is a highlight, with nearly 39% holding a bachelorโ€™s degree or higher, feeding into thriving industries like technology, government, and healthcare.

Virginia is the state of origin of more than 11% of my US-based blog traffic and holds a deep and enduring connection to many iconic figures in American literature and culture, a theme regularly explored in my blog posts. One of the most notable is Edgar Allan Poe, who spent much of his early life in Richmond and attended the University of Virginia. His ties to the state greatly influenced his writing and legacy. Virginia also played a significant role in the lives of other famous personalities such as Thomas Jefferson, the principal author of the Declaration of Independence and founder of the University of Virginia, and Booker T. Washington, a towering figure in African American history. The stateโ€™s rich historical backdrop has nurtured countless writers, thinkers, and leaders whose works and ideas continue to resonate today. By highlighting these connections, my blog celebrates Virginiaโ€™s profound impact on the creative and intellectual fabric of America, inviting readers to rediscover the stateโ€™s living heritage.

Illinois, located in the heart of the Midwest, has a diverse and dynamic demographic profile. As of recent estimates, the stateโ€™s population is approximately 12.5 million people, making it the sixth most populous state in the U.S. The largest city, Chicago, is home to nearly 2.7 million residents and serves as a major cultural, economic, and political hub. Illinois has a rich mix of ethnicities: around 61% of residents identify as White, 14% as Black or African American, 6% as Asian, and 17% as Hispanic or Latino. The state also has a notable immigrant population, particularly from Latin America and Asia. While Chicago is densely urban, much of Illinois consists of small towns and rural communities, especially in the central and southern regions. Economically, Illinois is driven by industries such as finance, manufacturing, agriculture, and technology, reflecting the stateโ€™s varied geography and cultural influences across its urban and rural areas.
